How your donation helps

Because we're a volunteer-run rescue, your donation isn't diluted by paid staff or overhead — nearly every dollar flows directly into the cats and kittens who need care. Here's what different gift sizes make possible.

$10 — a week of kitten formula for bottle-baby orphans.
$25 — a month of food and litter for a foster litter of four kittens.
$50 — a full vaccine series for one cat, including rabies and FVRCP.
$100 — FeLV/FIV testing, microchip, and dewormer — the pre-adoption medical basics.
$250 — one spay or neuter surgery, preventing dozens of unwanted litters.
$500 — emergency medical treatment for a cat hit by a car or arriving in critical condition.

Where your donations go

Veterinary care. Surgeries, dental work, medications, x-rays, and specialty treatment for cats with complex needs.
Food and shelter. Kitten formula, adult food, prescription diets, litter, bedding, and supplies for every foster home.
Emergency rescues. Rapid response for injured, trapped, or critically ill cats found in the community.
Foster support. Equipment, medical supplies, and training for our foster network.
Community education. Free educational materials, community outreach events, and school programming.

Recurring donations

Monthly gifts are the backbone of our rescue. A recurring donation lets us plan medical care confidently, schedule spay/neuter clinics in advance, and rescue proactively. Even $10 or $25 a month makes an enormous difference over the course of a year.

Carson Cats Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 46-4828084). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Every.org will email you a receipt immediately after your donation, and a full annual summary in January.
